A Conscious Cues Virtue Workbook

Get to know yourself.
Properly, and in writing.

A twelve-week reflective journey through the questions most people never actually sit down and answer. Why you react the way you do. Where you learned it. What you would rather do instead. Ten shifts, worked with a pen in your hand — on paper, or in a private online version that remembers every word.

  • 84 exercises you fill in, not read
  • 10 guided meditations, written out line by line
  • A 12-week plan that tells you what to do each week
  • An online version that saves everything as you go
  • Sixty traditions, from Delphi to Kyoto, on the same ten problems

The Self-Awareness Workbook
197Pages, built for writing in — not reading
84Exercises, scales, maps and trackers
10Guided meditations, one per shift
12Weeks from the first page to a changed habit
What you will actually answer

The questions underneath the pattern

Not “who am I” in the abstract. The specific ones you have been circling for years, each with a page and a place to write the answer.

Why does this particular thing make me react so much more than it should?
Which of my habits did I actually choose, and which did I inherit?
What am I like when nobody is performing for anybody?
Why do I keep ending up in the same argument with different people?
What is my body telling me before my head catches up?
What would I do differently if I stopped waiting to feel ready?
The journey

Ten shifts, in the order they have to happen

Each one moves a single sentence you have been telling yourself for years. You do not get to skip ahead — Shift 4 will not land until Shift 1 has, which is exactly why most people stay stuck at insight.

01

You Are Not Your Thoughts

Every thought I have is telling me something true
A thought is a mental event I can watch without believing
02

Your Behaviors Are Mostly Conditioned

This is just who I am
This is what I learned — and learned things can be relearned
03

Your Reactions Are Pointing at Something Older

They made me feel this way
The size of my reaction is information about me
04

Awareness Without Action Is Useless

Understanding my pattern is the work
Understanding is the start; the work is the repetition
05

Your Identity Is a Collection of Stories

This is what I am like
This is a story I have been telling, and it can be revised
06

Your Body Knew First

I will think my way to the answer
My body registered it before my mind produced a reason
07

Your Relationships Are Mirrors

People keep doing this to me
I keep meeting the same thing, so I am part of the pattern
08

Some of This Is You. Some of It Is a Costume

This is my personality
Some of this is me and some of it I have not taken off yet
09

You Have the Power to Change

I have always been this way
I have been this way so far
10

Who You Are Becoming

I am trying to figure out who I really am
I am something that keeps happening, and I get to keep meeting it

Or do the whole thing online

The same journey as a private, guided experience in your browser. Type your answers straight in. Read or listen to the meditations. Close the tab and come back in three weeks — it is all still there.

Nothing you write ever leaves your own browser. No account, no server, nobody reading it. Not us either.

  • 964 fields that save themselves as you type
  • A progress bar, and shifts that mark themselves done
  • Body maps and drawing pads you use with a finger or stylus
  • Meditations you can follow on screen, hands free
  • Export everything you have written, whenever you want
  • Print any page with your answers already on it
  • Phone, tablet or laptop — pick up wherever you left off
Inside every shift

The same shape, ten times over

So you always know where you are, and there is never a chapter you do not know how to start.

01A story you recognize. Then the shift, stated plainly, and why it matters.
02Four ways of seeing it. The neuroscience, the psychology, the body, and sixty traditions — each opening with a plain-English line you can read in ten seconds.
03A five-step path. What it means, what it looks like when it is working, one thing to try.
04Eight or nine exercises. Scales, timelines, body maps, sorting, drawing, writing. One flagged as the only one that matters if you are short on time.
05A contemplation and a meditation. One practice from a named tradition. One full script, line by line.
06Prompts, and what changes. Six questions with room to answer, and a plain account of what is different once it lands.

Start this if

  • You can already explain your patterns and still repeat them
  • You have read the books and want somewhere to do the work
  • You want the science and the philosophy, not one without the other
  • You would rather write by hand than watch another video
  • You are working alongside therapy, or in the gaps between it
  • You are a practitioner and want structured material for clients

Do not start this if

  • You want a weekend read — this is twelve weeks of work
  • You want to be told what you are rather than find out
  • You are in crisis right now. A workbook is the wrong tool today
  • You are looking for therapy. This is not it and does not replace it
  • You are not going to write anything down
Questions

Before you start

Is this a PDF or something I do online?

Both, and you get both. A print-ready 197-page PDF for people who want paper, and the full guided version in your browser for people who would rather type. Most people use both — print the pages they want to sit with, work the rest on screen.

How long does it really take?

Twelve weeks if you follow the plan — roughly one shift every ten days, with two consolidation weeks built in where there is nothing new to read. You can read the whole thing in a weekend. Reading it is not the same as doing it, and the book says so repeatedly.

Do I need anything else first?

No. This stands alone. If you already have the Feelings Wheel or Beyond Emotional Awareness, Shifts 3 and 6 will feel familiar and go faster.

Can I use it with clients?

Yes, for one-to-one work with your own clients — one purchase covers one practitioner. For a group or a whole caseload, email hello@consciouscues.com and we will sort out a practitioner license instead of you buying ten copies.

Is this therapy?

No. It is psychoeducation and structured self-reflection — not a diagnostic tool, not treatment, and not right for crisis support. If it surfaces something bigger than a workbook can hold, that is a good outcome, and the next step is a licensed professional.

What if it is not for me?

Email within 30 days and you get your money back, no explanation needed. Keep the file — asking someone to prove they deleted a PDF is theater.

Will it keep getting better?

Yes, and updates are free forever. Corrections are logged and the file is republished at the same link, so what you downloaded is never the only version. Videos and guided audio are on the way for the online edition.

Twelve weeks from today is a date on the calendar either way

197 pages, 84 exercises, ten meditations, and the full guided online version. One payment. Yours forever, including everything we add to it.

ABOUT SOFIA

I am an Intern Somatic Body Psychotherapist, Neuroscientist, Dancer, and Dance Teacher. My passion for mental health began at age 14, sparked by a natural ability to attune to people’s emotional landscapes.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve travelled the world exploring the human psyche — a journey that shaped my integrated approach, rooted in neuroscience (brain), psychology (mind), philosophy (spirit), and somatic practices like dance (body).

This embedded with my empirical experience has made it a personal and interpersonal discovery – in line with my essence and natural tendency to help those around me deal with various aspects of mental well-being.

It is this multidimensional understanding of what it means to be human that is at the heart of my work.

My work as a somatic body psychotherapist draws on the concept that life is a continuous unfolding process, from the first cell in the womb to the present moment. All aspects of our being need to be considered when navigating mental health issues.

I support each client’s unique process with openness and curiosity of all these aspects, helping transform scattered energy into a coherent source of well-being and vitality, reshaping life in ways that often exceed expectations.

Through my Neuroscience of Dance project and Dance Integrated Healing Method, I offer neurocognitive and movement-based tools for healing.

For the past six years, I’ve supported dancers and educators worldwide through sessions and workshops, focusing on injury recovery, neurological rehabilitation, memory and balance, mental health, and the therapeutic potential of dance. This integration of dance, neuroscience, and psychology began during my postgraduate research on the brain mechanisms behind dance, in collaboration with a leading researcher in the field.

My research has been published in Dance Data, Cognition, and Multimodal Communication and presented at the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) conference. I was honoured when this project was nominated for the IADMS Dance Educator Award (2022) and the Applied Dance Science Award (2021) from One Dance UK, which also recognised me as a Healthier Dancer Practitioner.

Personally, advocate for neurodiversity as a proud dyslexic. I love cats, cute cafes, cats, long walks, writing, cats, poetry.

Did I say cats?
